DeliverLean Launches Holiday Donation Program in Conjunction with Feeding South Florida

Oakland Park, FL – November 2014 – South Florida’s fastest growing healthy gourmet meal delivery service, DeliverLean, partners with Feeding South Florida to help end hunger this Thanksgiving.

Beginning November 5, DeliverLean is asking all their customers to leave canned foods in their empty cooler bag for DeliverLean drivers to pick up when they retrieve their bags after deliveries. Items will be picked up from DeliverLean customers every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings until the beginning of Thanksgiving week. DeliverLean is also encouraging non-customers and employees to drop off non-perishable food items at their headquarters located at 4351 NE 12th Terrace in Oakland Park, FL throughout the month of November.

“We are beyond excited to partner with Feeding South Florida this year,” says DeliverLean Founder and CEO, Scott Harris. “We want to make a difference in the local community and help those who need us this Thanksgiving. DeliverLean is dedicated to Feeding South Florida’s mission of helping feed those struggling to put food on the table.
