Join Feeding South Florida on September 23, 2017 at Okeeheelee Park in Palm Beach County for a fun-filled morning during our “Outrun Hunger Palm Beach County” 5K. Event proceeds go toward ending hunger in Palm Beach County.

Registration starts at 7:00AM
Walk/Run starts at 7:30AM

Medals are given for the top three places in each age category and overall best times. Team awards are also given for most participants per team and most funds raised. (Corporate and individual groups are awarded separately.)

As the sole Feeding America food bank in South Florida, Feeding South Florida is the largest and most efficient food bank in Palm Beach County. We provide more than 10 million pounds of food each year to Palm Beach County alone, through a network of more than 100 nonprofit partner agencies. For every $1 donated to us, we can provide 6 meals or $12 worth of grocery products. Feeding South Florida serves 202,110 individuals struggling to put food on the table – 63,660 of whom are children.

Throughout the year, Feeding South Florida hosts or is the recipient of proceeds from events hosted by community partners who support our mission to to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts, and transforming lives through innovative programming and education.

Participation in these events, whether it be via business sponsorship or the purchase of individual tickets, not only provides funds to help end  hunger, but also shows support and creates awareness for this ever important issue.
